Michaela is born and bred in Dunedin.

In her spare time, she can be found walking their GSP Tahoe or creating in her craft room whilst listening to true crime podcasts or with her partner at car shows around NZ in their 1962 Ford Thunderbird.

For years she has been a home-stay Mum, with more than 20 international students from a variety of countries having called her house home while they have been studying in Dunedin.

She has previously worked in the engineering industry and with farm machinery (feeding her love of most things wheeled), and most recently for a major charity.
