James was born and raised in Christchurch and is a very proud Cantabrian. He studied at the University of Canterbury with a brief spell on exchange at the University of Helsinki in Finland.

His background is in telco, communications and social media, and loves engaging with people to deliver resolutions and achieve goals.

He keeps himself busy outside of work by being crazy abouts sports, playing football for the mighty Burwood AFC, as well as avidly following basketball and rugby. He loves getting out and exploring NZ with his partner and their young puppy, while enjoying any food, coffee, beer or wine along the way.
