The Role:

As a Senior Software Developer or a keen Intermediate Software Developer ready to grow, you will be responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle within an agile and dynamic team. You will be working on developing brand new features on a product which is looking to rapidly scale and provide a unique offering to the education market. You will work collaboratively with other developers, as well as Product & Project Managers, BAs, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About You: 

You'll be an ambitious Intermediate or Senior Software Developer, with strong commercial development experience, that enjoys taking responsibility and working within a tightknit team. You'll be familiar with the full software development life cycle, keen to learn new technologies and develop your own skills, and also lend a hand to other Developers where required and share your expertise. You'll enjoy collaborating with others to deliver innovative solutions, and also comfortable working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers and Architects.

Skills:

The key things are a great attitude, an ability to be adaptable, and also a good, open-minded approach to programming. However, the below technical skills are preferred due to their current stack:
  • Experience with Angular, using TypeScript or similar front-end technologies, with an eye for good UI and front-end principles
  • Experience with Python, ideally using Django, or similar programming languages/frameworks
  • Knowledge of deployment or working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, but experience with Azure or GCP is also advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with technical & non-technical stakeholders
