The Role:
6-month contract opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer. You'll be involved in developing, maintaining and enhancing a modern platform, providing technical leadership to other team members and promoting best practice standards. This role is WFH, provided you are available to travel every few weeks to spend time with the team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in modern data platform engineering including:

- Extensive experience building modern solutions using cloud services
- Data modelling, data processing, ETL etc
- Data integration, warehousing and governance
- Strong proficiency in Python & SQL
- Data pipelines, automating deployments, CI/CD
- Data security principles
- Proven experience maintaining enterprise-wide data management environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide technical guidance to more junior team members
- An analytical mind with strong problem solving skills
