Crew are proud to partner with MTF Finance on their search for a Lead Architect, a new role to the business that will be pivotal in propelling their digital transformation forward.

MTF Finance:

MTF are purpose-led and values-led, with strong focus on the customer experience. They are looking to appoint a Lead Architect who will play a key role in defining and implementing architecture, integration and software delivery strategies for the company. 

The Role: 
Working closely with the CTO, the Lead Architect will join at a time of exciting digital transformation and growth. Leading a core team of business analysts, developers and quality assurance engineers and supported by external resource, you will be ensuring the scalability, security and performance of the organisation's software solutions. 

This position is a key leadership role for the technology function, and across the wider business. It will deliver clear direction, create a high performing culture, drive exceptional outcomes and embed best practices. 

This role can be based from their Auckland Office in Grafton for the right person, however you will be required to go the Dunedin National Office to spend time with the team as needed.

To be Successful:
Along with extensive leadership experience across software delivery teams, you will bring most of the following:
  • A proven track record of building and leading high-performing and innovative teams
  • Effective people leadership skills with ability to make a big impact and proven success implementing change
  • Ability to develop high quality architectural diagrams for software delivery teams
  • Exceptional communication and engagement skills across all business levels
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with demonstrable experience managing budgets, preparing business cases, forecasting and project planning
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to coordinate both internal and external resource within an agile environment
  • Recent hands on experience in full stack development including or similar to .Net, MySQL, SlimPHP, VueJS, Azure and modern integration practices
  • Financial Services industry experience is an advantage, but not necessary for the right person with an understand of how regulatory oversight impacts technology
