This is a hybrid working role based out of our international headquarters in Christchurch, providing a highly desirable lifestyle and cost of living. 

The role:

You will be a key player responsible for implementing the technical architecture of our platform within Azure cloud, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions for our platform.
This role is for a keen Intermediate Software Developer who wants to grow and develop domain expertise in healthcare and medication management software as our business continues to expand.  

What key responsibilities does this role have at Medi-Map?
  • Designing and developing quality solutions that are reliable and scale efficiently for an excellent customer experience
  • Provide advice and guidance to less experienced developers to support their growth.
  • Provide excellent communication to team members and stakeholders alike
  • Retain your technical expertise within the relevant technologies while acquiring expertise in technologies we are seeking to adopt
  • Participate in the technical on-call support roster. This requires the employee to sometimes be contactable for urgent out-of-hours support
  • Using our modern tech stack to create cutting-edge health and medication solutions
  • Contribute to our supportive and inclusive work culture that values innovation and platform improvement
Your ideal background:
  • Significant experience with modern C#, .NET within a commercial environment as an ambitious and talented developer
  • Proven ability in problem solving, communication and collaboration within a team environment
  • Experience with OOP, SOLID principles and version control as a core element of development, testing and release
  • Experience with Azure cloud, Typescript/ReactJS is advantageous
  • Desire to build your career with internationally recognised organisation
  • You use ongoing learning to increase the depth and breadth of your existing skills and knowledge
  • You work well within a team, a peer-contributor and passionate about what you do
  • Positive attitude and understanding that we win by working together!
  • Demonstrated ability to keep the end user at the forefront of their work
