Contract Systems Engineer

Crew have an opportunity for a contract systems engineer to join a large Dunedin business on an eight week hourly rate contract to provide short term 3rd line support.


The Company:
  
A large Otago based employer with a significant IT presence across multiple sites, this organisation has a large Microsoft infrastructure environment operating a hybrid model.

This company are geographically spread and have full capability to support a remote worker, including having your work from home for the duration of this contract.
  

The Role:

Reporting to the IT Manager, and supported by a L1/2 Service desk team, you'll take operational responsibility for the L3 support of:

• A O365, Windows Server, and VMware focused environment
• Networking
• Cyber security incident response

Skills & Experience:
  
Being a short term contract role, you'll need to be someone who can hit the ground running, ideally you'll have:

• 5+ years in operating infrastructure, network and security technologies.
• Proven ability to engage with internal users, application teams and vendors
• A background in working short term contracting roles for large business

  
This role is a 8-week contract, focused on BAU L3 Systems Engineering support during a transition period. The organization offer fully flexible working as well as hybrid and work from home options as well.
