The Role:

Emydex is a programme focussed on delivering a single manufacturing execution system (MES) to all Silver Fern Farms Sites. The Project Deployment Lead will be the face of the project on sites as the solution is rolled out, playing a key part in entirely transforming and enhancing plant operations.
  
You will be responsible for activities to implement the system at each location in accordance with the Programme plan, including the task management of other required deployment team on site where applicable. This is a hands-on role which will ensure that the new system and processes are planned and delivered at each site, from initiation to full hand over. It will include leading coordination at each location between project team, group level IT, system developers, system users and site service providers (engineers, electrical, infrastructure).

About You:
  • Proven experience in project deployment/implementation of IT system and process change
  • Significant experience in managing and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and able to solve issues with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to liaise with vendors
  • Good level of financial acumen
  • Experience in enterprise-wide projects and/or manufacturing environments would be advantageous
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be based on sites for the bulk of the time. You’ll therefore need to be available to travel and live away from home during the week (back on weekends of course).
