The Role:

The Data & Information Architect will strengthen the impact of, and provide recommendations on, business information that will need to be available and shared consistently across the organization through the identification, definition and analysis of how information assets aid strategies and business outcomes. You will be responsible for influencing information strategy, maximising value derived from data and analytics, governance, information modelling, managing risk, solution design, and more.

This role will play a pivotal part in the overall transformation journey and will require you to be agile and adaptive, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

You will be an all-rounder who brings deep technical knowledge and proven experience in working across large programmes, along with most of the below;
  • Strong experience architecting solutions in an agile environment
  • Understanding of information and data security principles and practices
  • Data modelling and information classification expertise at enterprise level
  • Familiarity with data science concepts, business intelligence and data warehouse design and implementation techniques
  • Experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments
  • Strong understanding of the role of governance within the Architecture sphere and the ability to design, implement and run such activities
  • Comfortable with running multiple implementations at the same time
  • Good facilitation skills, to be comfortable with running small design workshops or similar
  • Understanding of the strengths and limitations of Architectural Frameworks, particularly TOGAF.
  • Accurate and energetic approach to business success.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and professional guidance to members of project teams.
  • Contribute to organisational awareness of the projects and lead the change
