CNX is a leading IT Services Provider working on interesting and varied technology projects with leading businesses across Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough, and nationally. Due to the high demand for their professional services, continued business growth, and increased project work, CNX have a new position for a Technical Account Manager to join their high performing team.
  
The Role:

The Technical Account Manager is a mid-level position. It is responsible for the long-term management of sales and customer relations for a portfolio of key client accounts and the onboarding of new customers. Tasked with understanding the customer’s needs, business objectives and desirable outcomes, the Technical Account Manager, will oversee the timely service delivery of client-focused solutions. 
  
CNX are looking for a bright and confident personality who can relate to and communicate with a wide range of clients. You will demonstrate strong administration, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously and a desire to learn new technologies.

Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and competencies in the following areas:
  • Technical or business experience in account management and/or business
  • Project planning, systems design, proposal writing, IT budgets and roadmaps
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship building
  • Technical exposure to the public cloud, private cloud/hosting, hybrid platforms, Office 365 technologies, SharePoint online, server/desktop/end-user compute, communications, voice, VoIP, mobile, data, networking, LAN, WAN
  • Microsoft licensing and contract negotiations
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
