About the role:

The Project Coordinator will join the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) in a 12-month fixed term capacity in Dunedin. They will play a key role in the strategic alignment and successful delivery of programmes and projects.

In this role you will assist in the successful delivery of change initiatives at Silver Fern Farms. You will provide project coordination through support and guidance to the wider project team and assist the Project Managers to embed Silver Fern Farms project framework into projects. You will be a core member of the EPO, performing administration duties for projects and will be responsible for ensuring the project team and operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Skills required:
  • Previous experience in Project Coordination in complex organisations
  • Ability to reason and present solid arguments, listen to other’s points of view, negotiate and find solutions
  • Exposure and a good understanding in project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMI
  • Knowledge of navigating SharePoint, Office 365 and NAV or similar, would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, with sound judgement to make consistently good decisions
  • Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage across all levels of the business
The role requires a person who is self-motivated, proactive, can use initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
