A contract role as an IT Helpdesk Administrator provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your IT and technology experience, and diversify your skills as an IT professional.

What is the role? 

This contract role will have you working a six-month stint based in Dunedin, with a large business that operates internationally, supporting a largely Windows based IT environment.
You'll provide support to users across Australasia via phone, email and using remote tools, as well as the occasional in-person interaction as well.


What skills are needed?

As an experienced IT Support person, you'll:
  • Have at least two years experience in an IT service desk environment
  • Have extensive knowledge of Windows OS, network support, and general corporate technologies (O365, exchange, Active Directory & GP administration)
  • Be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues over the phone, via email, and using remote support tools
  • Be confident and capable of picking up business-specific software quickly
  • Understand core concepts of ITIL in practice, and be able familiarise yourself with a new Service Management Tool with ease
