Junior IT Support Engineer

The Company 

Is Dunedin-based, and operates multiple sites across NZ, particularly in the South Island. The company prides itself on providing technology and accessible services that help everyone. Their staff work within a company that offers a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment.
 
The Role

Will see you providing technical support to staff across the country. This is not a traditional service desk role, as you will be involved in server and desktop support alongside project work as part of the business's long-term digital transformation objectives. 

Technical Requirements

Ideally, you’ll have great experience across the below technologies. If not, you’ll tick several of the below boxes, and be interested in learning and developing your skillset to cover the areas that you’re not familiar with:
  • Windows OS - Installation, operation, maintenance, and repair
  • Supporting user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and O365 Admin Centre
  • Recording, tracking, and updating IT Support requests using a ticketing system
  • Resolving inquiries via phone, email, in-person, and using remote support technologies (TeamViewer, etc)
You'll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a great phone manner, be a people person, and be willing to learn and upskill on the job too.
