The company:

Are a large organization with branches right across New Zealand, with a strong brand and solid reputation in their field. They have experienced year on year growth, and considerable expansion since COVID-19. They have several key technology projects ahead to help evolve the business and support this growth. Their management team are motivated to explore how to best leverage modern tools and technologies that will contribute to building an exciting and modern business.

The role:

Will be directly responsible for the management and delivery of several key projects with technical outcomes, alongside being accountable for the establishment of an appropriate project management methodology to support the whole technology project portfolio. Day to day, you will be managing vendors, budgets, scheduling and quality, along with implementing opportunities for process improvement and governance.

To be successful:
  • 2+ years in a similar capacity, working across a variety of technology portfolios
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing multiple complex projects in a Microsoft environment
  • Experience establishing, or significantly improving, project management methodology
  • Strong communication skills across all levels internally and externally
  • A confident decision maker with the ability to deliver change
  • Experience establishing governance and processes with a good understanding of what good looks like.
